"Don't be afraid
to show your smile"
She looked in the mirror
and disliked what she saw
she dismissed all virtues
and pointed out all flaws
over and over
People had told her
she was pretty
but she only heard
the ones who told her otherwise
How could she deny
she actually turned heads
she told herself
it was because she's hideous
a freak
not because she was fascinating
beautiful
impossible to perceive
nobody would be able to convince her
Nobody?
"Don't be afraid
to show your smile"
Being touched
loved
It made her so happy
but scared at the same time
scared it was all a lie
that it wouldn't last
But it did last
The only reflection worth believing
is the reflection you leave
in the eyes of your loved ones
to show your smile"

Mirror
She came with warmth and fear of loneliness
Like floods and cool spring rain.
A smile - and my nights were bright
With tireless, sleepless dreams of hopefulness.
Just go, they whisper softly,
In tiny, light gold flecks of wind.
Flying through my thoughts, drinking of my memories -
These summer stars are burning me within.
Strolling slowly down these paths,
Forgotten, yet forever written in my soul,
I hide beneath a parasol of promises
From sharpened spears of confusion
And sudden torrents of black holes.
But still, I'm mesmerized by the leaves of fall.
The light, fir-scented breath of longing
Blows wildly through my hair,
And

Our Love
Our Love
I can still remember,
The look on your face,
It was right then,
That I knew my life had changed
The way your face lit up,
When you smiled,
Brightened up the whole room,
Like a candle in the night
And everyday...
I see...
That same smile...
Directed right at me
Our love is powerful,
Our love is deep
Our love is all we want,
And everything we need
One thing inside me,
Will never change,
How weak you make me feel,
Every time you say my name
I still love to hold you,
In my arms,
Keep you close to me,
Safe and warm
Our little one,
Will soon be here,
The proof of our love,
That is so very clear
And
Literature
We
We all,
Take more than we give
We try,
So very hard to fit in
And we feel,
So alone sometimes...
We hold,
The ones we love so close
We take,
Chances nobody else knows
And inside,
Secrets we hide and deny...
We all have times,
That we wish we weren't alive
But every time that we give up,
A little piece of us dies
So we hold on to who we are,
In the hopes of who we could be
We burn,
When we feel we've been wronged
We learn,
That no matter what, life goes on
And sometimes we,
Are afraid of the night...
We fear,
That which we don't understand
We're in tears,
When we need a helping hand
And sometimes we,
Can only bleed

So beautiful. Brought tears to my eyes.
