Anger

All she has left now;
pieces of broken glass
her broken love
her broken life

He does it on purpose
she's sure of it
Pushes her until she bursts
And she falls for it every time

'You have anger issues.'
He tells her every time she explodes
and whenever he says it, she gets more angry
because it's true
and he's not supposed to be right

'I don't need help.'
She tries to make herself believe
But every time she throws another plate
Her beliefs shatter with it
Little by little

She would seek comfort with her friends
If she still had any left
She blamed them for being too weak
But she knows it isn't their fault

It's her
It always has been
Who would want to be with her?
A ticking time bomb…
